I’m Danny. I’m have been blessed beyond measure. I married my college sweetheart, and God has seen fit to bless us with three awesome kids.
My Story
At the age of 17, God invaded my life and changed it forever. The emptiness I felt was filled by His overwhelming love. Because of Jesus Christ, I gained purpose, perspective and satisfaction. After graduating from Liberty University, I spent five years investing my life into teenagers as a youth pastor. In 2006, I took over as the lead pastor of Emmanuel Church and started to pour my life into adults.
Initially, things did not go so well at the church. Attendance plummeted from 2,000 to 900. Through prayer, commitment and perseverance to our vision, our team of incredible staff hung in there and by God’s power and grace, we reach over 8,000 people at seven physical locations, online, and also “e-microsites.” We truly believe, with God’s help, we are just getting started!
So why another blog from a Pastor?
The purpose of this blog is to provide encouragement, insight, and truth to help you to live the awesome life that God has created you to live. God has a purpose for every person alive. He has gifted each one of us with talent and skill to be used in this life, for His glory. This blog is designed to help you to reach that potential.

The bottom line is that I believe everyone can live an awesome life. But it doesn’t just happen. It takes focus, learning, patience and effort… lots of effort.
